HOW IS THE SPORTS & ACTIVITIES DIRECTORY FUNDRAISING?

All of our sponsors/advertisers have become part of the Sports & Activities Directory fundraising team:

• A percentage of ad sales will go to either the West Broward Family YMCA, Optimist Clubs, City Recreation programs, or select non-profit sports organizations within Pembroke Pines, Plantation, and Weston.

• To date, we have donated well over $53,000 back into the community. We also have given over $438,000 in kind advertising space to non-profit organizations.

WHAT ARE THE PUBLISHING SCHEDULES AND DEADLINES?

NEW AD CREATION:

If our graphics department will be creating your ad, we must have all ad contents including graphics, logos, photos and text 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO DATES LISTED ABOVE. Ad creation fees are supplied at no charge to annual contract advertisers only and do not include stock photography or clip art. Advertisers must supply all elements of the ad creation in hi resolution (300 DPI) and in full color.

HOW ARE ARTICLES & EVENTS PLACED IN THE DIRECTORY?

We guarantee our 4x advertisers one (1) half page article with each annual contract on a topic or specialty that is related to their business and is value-add to our readers. We also publish our advertisers’ events in the Events Section of the directory.

WHERE DOES OUR AD GET PLACED WITHIN THE PUBLICATION?

We have many sections that will fit just about any type of company. Ad placements come on a first - come, first - serve basis and most of our contract advertisers choose their page within a section and keep it throughout their contract.

Some of the sections we have every issue are: Around Weston, Around Pines, Around Plantation, Events, Sports/Activities Directory, Family Health, Schools, Spotlight or Camp Section.
